Shark cartilage for dogs is a great, low allergen, treat option as it provides a natural source of chondroitin, glucosamine, calcium and collagen. This cartilage supplement is also high in omega 3 fatty acids, protein and phosphorus which all help promote healthy skin, immune system and aid in teeth, bone and joint health.

Shark cartilage benefits dogs of all ages/sizes. However, your aging pet will appreciate the shark cartilage for the healthy joint function properties it has to offer.

These natural treats are also beneficial for their dental hygiene. The crunchy nature of these treats helps to remove plaque and tartar build up in your pet’s mouth, giving them cleaner teeth and fresher breath!

How to use

Shark Cartilage sizing guide

Approximate sizes: 15cm long and 1-2cm thick.

Due to this variation in size and weight the 150G packet will have at least 150g worth of shark cartilidge which is around 5-8 pieces. The 300G packet will contain roughly 12-16 pieces.

Note: This is a natural product and sizes/weights will vary. The sizing is a guide only, please expect some variation to this. 

DOGS Daily Intake:

Small (< 10kg) 1/2 - 1 treat

Medium (10kg - 25kg) 1 - 2 treats

Large (> 25kg) 1 - 3 treats

CATS Daily Intake:

Small (< 5kg) 1/2 treat

Medium (5kg - 10kg) 1/2 - 1 treat

Large ( > 10kg) 1 treat

What’s in our healthy dog treats?

FortunatePaws Shark Cartilage Treats are made with just one, natural, Australian ingredient: Shark Cartilage. That’s all there is! The cartilage has been sourced from sustainably fished Australian shark such as Gummy sharks which are used for human fish consumption. We do not use any endangered species and the Gummy shark species is classified as least concern with the International Union for Conservation of Nature. We only use the left-over cartilage which would otherwise be thrown away.

Brush your teeth!

Ok so my 14 year old poodle has had bad teeth and we are trying to help him keep the ones he has left ....so keeping them clean is a big thing so theses have been great for that.
